This policy explains what [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] collects when you use cateringleads.ai, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It covers both our clients — the catering businesses with accounts — and the business contacts our clients reach out to.
Account information. Your name, email address, a hashed password, business name, physical mailing address, phone number, and website.
Business profile information. What we need to write outreach in your voice: your menu and prices, service area, the kinds of customers you want, named target businesses, brand assets such as your logo and food photographs, and the notes you enter in Settings.
Login and session data. An access token stored in your browser so you stay signed in, plus server logs of requests to the service, which include IP address and timestamps and are used for security and troubleshooting.
Billing metadata. Your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status and renewal date, and the date and version of the Terms you accepted at checkout. We never receive or store your card number.
Outreach and performance data. The emails drafted and approved for you, when they were sent, delivery outcomes, opens, bounces, replies received, and the notes and outcomes you record in your dashboard.
Prospect business contact data. Business names, addresses, roles, work email addresses, and phone numbers for the businesses we research on your behalf. This is business contact information, not consumer data — see Section 5.
We use this information to run the service you signed up for: to research prospects, draft outreach in your voice, send approved emails under your name, track delivery and replies, show you performance, support your account, and bill your subscription. We also use aggregate, de-identified activity to keep the service reliable and improve how it works.
We do not sell your data. We do not use one client's business information, menu, or results to benefit another client, and we do not share your data with other clients.
Card details never touch our servers. Payments run through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe billing portal. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly under Stripe's privacy policy. We store only the identifiers and status described in Section 1.
We use these vendors to operate the service. Each one touches only what it needs to do its job, and this list is kept current as the stack changes:
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a successor if the business is sold — in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
To make catering introductions, we compile business contact information from public and third-party commercial sources: business names, locations, roles, work email addresses, and phone numbers. This is information about businesses and the people who represent them in a business capacity.
If you received an email and want it to stop: reply with the word “unsubscribe” and you will not be contacted again for that sender. Opt-outs are recorded and honored automatically and permanently, and they survive account deletion — see Section 6. Every outreach email also carries the sending business's physical mailing address.

Data is encrypted in transit. Each client's records are isolated so one account cannot read another's. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to production systems and API credentials is limited to the people who operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can view and correct most of your information yourself in Settings. To request a copy of your data, correct something you cannot edit, or delete your account, email hello@cateringleads.ai and we will respond within 45 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act — to know what is collected, to correct or delete it, to obtain a portable copy, and to appeal a refusal. We honor these requests regardless of your state. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on our website or in the dashboard. The dashboard stores a login token and a few interface preferences in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in and your layout is remembered. Clearing your browser storage signs you out. Because nothing here is used for advertising or cross-site tracking, there is no consent banner.
We may update this policy. Each version carries the version date shown at the top of this page. Material changes to what we collect, who we share it with, or how long we keep it will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
